Litchfield Park Preschool

Our Philosophy

Our Arizona state licensed preschool program provides many opportunities for children to discover and learn while exploring the world around them. We offer a progressive theme-model and literacy-based curriculum including story time, art, creative social play, music/movement, small and large motor skill development, and alpha numeric concepts in a sensitive and safe learning environment. Our preschool program offers low student to teach ratios so that each child will have the opportunity for individual attention. All students must be potty-trained prior to enrollment.

Our Program

The three and four year old Adventures in Learning program meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 8am to 11am.The curriculum focuses on social interacting through shared story time, creative play and group activities including art, music and movement. The children are encouraged to interact with other children and adults.

The four and five year old ABC Explorers program meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday offering morning and afternoon sessions. The curriculum encourages children to develop their fine motor, listening and social skills. Group times and circle times include opportunities for singing, art, music, movement, creative play, stories, and sharing. In addition, we focus on introductory levels of the alphabet, numbers and phonemic awareness. Details on each preschool program is accessible through the City's online registration website.
