Interim City Manager Duties


  • The City of Litchfield Park operates under the Council-Manager form of government.
  • Under this system, the City Council appoints the City Manager, who acts as the chief executive officer of the City.
  • The City Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all city departments; enforces policy and administers city programs.
  • One assistant city manager reports directly to the City Manager.
  • Department directors are hired by and responsible to the City Manager.

Darryl H. Crossman became the City of Litchfield Park's City Manager in November 2004. Mr. Crossman passed away on January 6, 2017. At their Regular Meeting on January 18, 2017, the City Council appointed Sonny Culbreth, the City's Assistant City Manager, the Interim City Manager.
