Haitian Earthquake Relief
aid the earthquake victims in Haiti. At the present time neither the Red Cross nor the Salvation Army is accepting household items for Haitian relief. The best way to help is to donate money. The Red Cross is accepting a $10 donation by texting the word “HAITI” to 90999 on your cell phone. You may also text the word “HAITI” to 52000 to automatically give $10 to The Salvation Army’s relief efforts. The websites for Red Cross (https://secure3.convio.net/arc3/site/Donation2?idb=0&df_id=1320&1320.donation=form1) and Salvation Army (http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/www_usn_2.nsf) also offer links to donate money. You may copy and paste the web addresses (in parenthesis) to your browser.

Locally, the Compass Church is accepting donations of medical supplies that will then be shipped to Haiti by way of the Haitian Disaster Relief of Arizona. Medical supplies may be dropped off at Compass Church, 16060 W Van Buren St., Goodyear, AZ 85338, 623-935-3060.
