Jeff Raible
Jeff Raible 2015 Feb.JPG

The most recent addition to City Council, Jeff Raible has been an active volunteer for years.  He is honored to serve the residents of Litchfield Park in this new capacity, while continuing to serve our community in other ways.

Jeff is a Board Member of the Litchfield Park Historical Society, and serves as its Treasurer.  Founded in 2001, the society collects, maintains and shares the history of Litchfield Park and surrounding communities. Its Museum was established in 2012.

He also is a Co-Chair of the Community Advisory Group for the Phoenix/Goodyear Airport Superfund Site.  The CAG serves as community advocates for the containment and cleanup of pollutants found within our soil at three local sites in historic Goodyear and Avondale.

Jeff was a member of the City’s Planning & Zoning Commission from 2010 through 2014, and served as its Chairman beginning in 2012.  During his tenure, changes to the City’s zoning code related to signs, accessory structures and design review guidelines were implemented, as well as the several General Plan Amendments of 2014.

Having moved as a child to Goodyear in 1970, Jeff grew up in the southwest valley when our towns were small, still surrounded by fields of cotton and vegetables.  He is a graduate of Agua Fria (proud Class of 1980), and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s in Information Management.  He works for a major financial services company.

Jeff never migrated far from home, but it was his marriage to Karen Saelens in 2007 that brought him to Litchfield Park.  He & Karen live on Florence Avenue near Turtle Park.  They share four children – Tori and Griffen Raible, Austin and Rachel Kennedy – who are rapidly approaching independence as adults.

Elected in 2014
Term Ending:  January 2019
